Theodore Roosevelt’s defeat in the 1912 election didn’t discourage many of his followers. They immediately started plotting for a 1916 Progressive Party campaign with Teddy once again on top of the ticket. Roosevelt eventually opted not to run, but not before this 1916 campaign buttons was made. It’s a rare 1 1/4 inch celluloid with a small edge spot at 2 o’clock, otherwise in excellent condition.
