A fascinating and intricate celluloid pin from Georgia Day, held in Jamestown on June 10, 1907. The new U.S. battleship Georgia was the center of festivities at the Jamestown Exposition that day. This 2 1/8 inch celluloid celebrated President Theodore Roosevelt’s visit to the exposition – TR’s mother was from Georgia. Tie all that together with this gorgeous pin and you have quite an item. Whitehead and Hoag back paper, excellent condition.
