John Blaisdell Corliss of Detroit joins Teddy Roosevelt on this rare Michigan coattail pin. Corliss was the man who put together the first city charter for Detroit and later served in Congress. This pin apparently is from 1902, when Republicans tried to boost his re-election campaign with a big dose of TR. Corliss lost that election and returned to the practice of law. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition, W+H back paper.
