Clifford Berryman was the artists who created to famous “teddy bear” in tribute to Theodore Roosevelt. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid pin features a Berryman cartoon that shows the teddy bear marching with TR and Charles Fairbanks. Berryman’s first teddy bear cartoon appeared in 1902 and became and instant sensation – and this pin is a sensation itself. A rare pin with spectacular artwork, excellent condition.
