When John Glenn took to the skies in Friendship 7, he became the first American to orbit the Earth. This celluloid pin is a scarce pin that commemorates that historic space flight. Glenn circled the Earth three times on Feb. 20, 1962, in a huge step forward for the space program. Excellent.
