Ohio Gov. James M. Cox is the man on the medal on this press reception badge from his 1917 inauguration as governor in Columbus. A scarce 6-inch item from Cox's political comeback. He was elected governor in 1912, lost in 1914 to Frank Willis, then came back in 1916 to win the governor's seat back. Scarce Cox item in excellent condition.
