New York was by far still the biggest prize when Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy faced off in the 1960 election – the state had far and away the most electoral votes with 45. This very scarce celluloid pin was part of the effort by the Nixon campaign to capture the state. It’s a 2 3/4 inch pin issued to members of the Nixon-Lodge New York campaign staff. Excellent condition.
