William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt and John Tanner are pictured on this tinted sepia celluloid pin from 1900. Tanner had been governor of Illinois and was seeking his party’s nomination for U.S. senator in 1900. He was one of the first governors to take a non-partisan stance in organized labor disputes. This beautiful pin with the blue tinting on the sepia is a scarce trigate in excellent condition.
