Marcus Garvey was the leader of the Pan African movement early in the 20th century. Garvey’s Universal Negro Improvement Association and African Community League had millions of members. He worked for a united Africa ruled by blacks and not by white imperialists. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. called Garvey “the first man of color to develop a mass movement.” This 1 1/4 inch celluloid pictures Garvey as the First Provisional President of Africa. Few tiny edge spots.
Marcus Garvey, Provisional President of Africa
