Rex Clawson was an artist whose painting “Nude in a Rocking Chair" caused a sensation in 1963 because the rumor was the guy in the picture was John F. Kennedy. When U.S. Treasury agents raided his art gallery and confiscated the picture (which reportedly was never seen again), Clawson started a career of political satire. This rare pin picturing LBJ is from his “War on Politics" show held at the Royal Athena Art Gallery on Madison Avenue. It's a 2 1/8-inch celluloid, excellent.
