A very scarce John F. Kennedy Illinois coattail pin made for use in the 1964 election. This 1 1/8 inch litho was produced late in 1963 before JFK’s assassination in Dallas in November of that year. It teams the president with Otto Kerner, who was re-elected to a second term as governor of Illinois in 1964. Kerner later was a federal judge who was tried and convicted on bribery charges stemming from his time in office as governor. A few faint scratches.
