Absolutely spectacular. That’s the best way to describe this rare John W. Davis pin from the 1924 election. It’s a beautiful 4 inch celluloid with only a tiny bump on Davis’ collar – overall excellent and as good of an example of this highly sought-after pin as you’ll ever find. Davis was nominated in 1924 on the 103rd ballot at the Democratic convention – a record number of ballots likely never to be broken. The party staggered into the election and few campaign pins were made, which helps explain why this one is so hard to find. A rare opportunity.
