Rare and historic Jackie Robinson pin honoring him as the National League Rookie of the Year in 1947. Robinson broke the color barrier in Major League baseball that year in spectacular fashion, hitting .297, stealing 29 bases and scoring 125 runs. Robinson’s rookie year had huge implications not only for baseball but for the civil rights movement. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition.
