A scarce Charles Evans Hughes pin from Sept. 26, 1908. That's the day Hughes was notified that he would be the Republican candidate for governor of New York. The big event was held at the Claremont Rink in New York City. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid with Whitehead and Hoag back paper is in excellent condition.
