This Herbert Hoover campaign pin is not only a rare beauty, but also has a great story to go with it. These 7/8 inch celluloids were made by A.G. Trimble for the candidate's wife, Lou Hoover, who personally handed out the very limited quantity. The pins were only given to friends and loyal supporters in California. The gorgeous design, using the California poppy also included a clever slogan, when added to the story and rarity of the pin, makes this pin truly one of the very top Hoover items. This little gem is in excellent condition.
