The Republican administration of Warren Harding was scandalized by the Teapot Dome, Wyoming, oil reserves scandal. Democrats hoped to connect President Calvin Coolidge to that scandal with this 1924 campaign pin. It’s a rare John W. Davis 7/8 inch celluloid that pictures the Teapot Dome and promises Honest Days with Davis. Pin has an Oppenheimer and Shaw back paper and is in excellent condition.
