An interesting letter dated 1914 from Harding’s friend, Lloyd C. Merriman of Marion, Ohio, to a fraternity brother endorsing Warren G. Harding for U.S. senator. Harding’s victory in that election set the stage for his election as president six years later. Nicely framed with picture of a young and stern looking Harding as he appeared in 1914. Thirteen by 21 1/2 inches, excellent.
