A dual purpose protest pin! This celluloid button is a Youth Against War and Fascism celluloid protesting U.S. involvement in the Dominican Republic and Vietnam. Lyndon Johnson sent troops to the Dominican in 1965 to prevent a “second Cuba.” They stayed there until 1966. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid is in excellent condition.
