Yes, that’s Grover Cleveland on this 1 1/4 inch celluloid pin. All collectors know that Grover ran for president three times in the days before celluloid pins became common. However, in 1904 the Democrats were casting around for a candidate not named Bryan and some of them came up with a novel idea: Why not bring Grover back again? This pin in a classic 1904 design still has its Whitehead and Hoag back paper. A very scarce Cleveland hopeful item in excellent condition.
