Impressive is an understatement when describing this giant Al Smith presidential campaign banner from 1928. The 41 by 54 inch banner is made of very heavy stock paper and is attached to a wooden bar at top. It was created by William T. Wager of Brooklyn and there is writing on the back that says the banner was property of the Gem City Democratic Club of Dayton, Ohio, in 1928. Some rough spots along the edges and the wooden bar is unhooked near one edge.
