Eugene Debs remains the most famous and influential socialist in U.S. history. This rare celluloid presidential campaign pin is from 1920, the sixth and final time Debs ran for president. At the time, Debs was imprisoned in federal prison for speaking out against World War I. This 1 inch button pictures him in front of prison bars and calls on Americans to vote for “Convict No. 9653.” A classic third party item in excellent condition.
