Bill Clinton and Al Gore were planning ahead on this 1996 campaign pin with an NCAA tournament theme. It calls for a “Sweep 16” – a play on the famous “Sweet 16” of the tournament. It’s a 2 ½ inch Tennessee celluloid that lays out 16 years of Democratic victories – Clinton in 92 and 96, Gore in 2000 and 2004. A few small pinprick size indents at bottom right.
