The Civilian Conservation Corps provided work for unemployed young men from 1933-1942. During that time, the CCC employed close to 3 million men on a variety of conservation projects. This is a rare ring made for a CCC Company 191 member. Company 191 was a Vermont group with headquarters near Waterbury. This is a well-made, full size ring in excellent condition. Another item from the Dr. Fred Strickland collection.
