A rare and intriguing coattail pin from 1908. Andrew E. Lee was born in Norway and was elected as the third governor of South Dakota in 1896 on the Populist ticket. In 1908 he tried to make a comeback with another run for governor. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid is a coattail pin picturing him with William Jennings Bryan. A couple almost indistinguishable faint spots near bottom edge, overall excellent.
