William Jennings Bryan is pictured with David Bennett Hill on this rare proposed Democratic ticket celluloid. Hill was a former New York governor who was a U.S. senator from 1892-1897 and who was a presidential hopeful himself in 1892, when the Democrats picked his rival from New York, Grover Cleveland, instead. This 2 1/8 inch celluloid suggested he team up with Bryan for run at the White House. Excellent condition.
