The British Relief Association was famous in the 1840s for providing help for famine-struck Ireland. This celluloid pin is from 1916, during World War I, and pictures the flags of U.S., England, Scotland and Ireland. It’s a gorgeous 1 1/2 inch celluloid with vibrant colors in excellent condition, made for a July 4th event in St. Louis to raise funds to help the British Isles during World War I.
