John Bull has his boat “the Shamrock" in hand on this 7/8-inch America's Cup celluloid from 1899. This scarce pin with Baldwin and Gleason back paper as issued by the Montreal Star in support of the Commonwealth's entry in the race. The event took place in New York and the US entry, the Columbia, defeated the Shamrock. Excellent condition.
