Alton Parker looks like the picture of propriety on this very scarce 1904 campaign pin – and that’s exactly what he was. Almost no one could find anything bad to say about the New York judge who ran against Teddy Roosevelt in 1904. As things turned out, most people didn’t say much at all about him, and he ended up losing in a big way. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid is a winner, though; it’s a beautiful Parker campaign pin with only a very faint spot at bottom center that blends in with the color of the pin. Whitehead and Hoag back paper.
