Alton Parker needed all the help he could get in the 1904. He was running against fellow New Yorker and widely popular president Theodore Roosevelt. This beautiful 1 1/4 inch celluloid pictures Parker with the American Flag and a lucky horseshoe, but it wasn’t enough to beat TR. It is more than enough to make a spectacular campaign item, though. Baltimore Badge back paper, excellent condition. Not the repin version this is a great pin from the Gil Gleason collection.
