A horseshoe can bring a little good luck – and Alton Parker needed all the luck he could get. This beautiful 1904 celluloid was part of Parker’s 1904 race against Teddy Roosevelt. It’s a rare 1 1/4 inch celluloid with Baltimore Badge back paper and is the mate to the Theodore Roosevelt horseshoe pin below. Excellent condition.
