July 23, 1936, was a big day in Topeka, Kansas. That was the day that Alf Landon was officially notified of his nomination for president by the Republican Party. This rare celluloid pin was made especially for Notification Day ceremonies held in Topeka. It’s a 2 1/4 inch celluloid, excellent condition.
