Ingenious! This brass shell ferrotype pinback from 1880 is a rare and exceptional Winfield Scott Hancock item. It pictures Hancock set in the cuff of a gauntlet with a hand bearing an image of a rooster (Hand-Cock). The 2 1/4 inch tall item is one of the most sought after of all Hancock pieces because of its clever design as well as its rarity. This beauty is in excellent condition and comes from the Al Anderson collection.
