“Wide Awakes” was the name of a movement that started in Hartford, Ct., after Abraham Lincoln spoke there in March of 1860. It began as a group of young Republicans and grew to a national movement famous for its parades in support of Lincoln. This rare 6 3/4 inch ribbon comes from the city where it all started. Excellent condition.
