An impressive and scarce Harry Truman pin featuring a striking American eagle design. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid picturing Truman and Vice President Alben Barkley was made for the 1949 inauguration. It’s long been a favorite with collectors because of its scarcity and its beautiful design. Curl reads: “The Midwest Badge and Novelty Co., Inc., Minneapolis, Minn.” Excellent condition.
