Rare Theodore Roosevelt on Horseback pin from the 1904 election. This 1 3/4 inch celluloid is a true TR classic, showing the dashing hero of the Spanish-American War at the place that made him a household name. This pin is from the legendary Joe Brown collection and is the only one like we’ve ever seen or heard about. It has been offered for sale once in 1992 in Anderson Auction 82. So while we don't know when or how Joe Brown obtained the pin, we do know that this was the only opportunity to own it before. If you pass on this opportunity it’s unlikely you’ll see it again. By the way on Friday, April 18 this pin has third most watchers and has had the second most hits of any item in this sale.
