Nathaniel Sears was a Republican candidate for mayor of Chicago in 1897. The lawyer and judge was a defense lawyer in the famous Chicago Trunk Murder case. He lost the 1897 election, which was won by Carter Harrison. This scarce 7/8 inch celluloid is excellent. First we recall, from Bob Rouse collection.
