Robert Sweitzer was a candidate for mayor of Chicago in 1915 and 1919, losing both times to Big Bill Thompson. He was Cook County Clerk for 24 years, was elected Cook County treasurer in 1934 but soon after was removed from office for fiscal impropriety. This 1 1/4 inch celluloid picturing Sweitzer is in excellent condition. Bob Rouse collection.
