Clement Vallandigham was the leader of the anti-war Copperhead movement during the Civil War. Kicked out of the country, he ran for governor of Ohio in 1863. This 9-inch paper ballot is an extremely rare Vallandigham item from the Al Anderson collection. It is in two pieces, shows some discolor but it’s the only one we’ve ever seen. A rare opportunity.
