“Bourbon Democrats” in 1904 wanted a candidate who would turn the party away from William Jennings Bryan’s monetary policies. They found him in Alton Parker, a gold standard Democrat. This very scarce Parker-Davis 1 1/4 inch jugate features a gold background and has an International Badge and Novelty Co. back paper. Excellent condition.
