Rex Clawson was an artist whose painting “Nude in a Rocking Chair” caused a sensation in 1963 because the rumor was the guy in the picture was John F. Kennedy. When U.S. Treasury agents raided the art gallery and confiscated the picture (which reportedly never was seen again), Clawson started on a career of political satire. This rare pin is from his “War on Politics” show at the Royal Athena Art Gallery. It’s a 2 1/8 inch celluloid in excellent condition.
