The Union League Club of Kansas City produced this dramatic pin to celebrate Alf Landon Notification Day on July 23, 1936. The Landon Notification Day parade and speech were held in Topeka that day. This giant 4-inch celluloid from Kansas City, Mo., certainly makes a big impression. It’s a rare Landon pin in excellent condition.
