The Republican elephant is in hot water over the Teapot Dome scandal on this rare celluloid pin. John W. Davis and the Democrats tried to get some mileage out of the scandal in 1924. Teapot Dome, Wyoming, was the site of large oil reserves located under public land. It became the center of a giant bribery scandal during the Harding administration. This 1 inch celluloid has a crack on right side, but still is very presentable.
