Take a close look at this John W. Davis pin. This is the very rare brown and white version of this Davis design. It’s a 7/8 inch celluloid from 1924 and pictures Davis, who was nominated after a grueling 103-ballot contest at the Democratic National Convention. Davis was a darkhorse candidate at the convention, which was split between followers of Al Smith and William McAdoo. Whitehead and Hoag BP, excellent.
