Stanley Kubrick’s movie “Dr. Strangelove” starred Peter Sellers as a demented, nuclear bomb-obsessed character. The makers of this campaign pin saw a little (or maybe a lot?) of Barry Goldwater in that character. Hence, this 1 1/4 inch anti Goldwater “Dr. Strangewater” celluloid button was born. It is in excellent condition. This pin brought $633 in Auction 190.
