Pittsburgh wants you to support Lyndon Johnson with this scarce pin and ribbon from an LBJ rally. The 2 1/4 inch celluloid button is attached to a ribbon made for the Oct. 27, 1964 Johnson rally in Pittsburgh. Excellent. How about an interesting true story. I worked for A.G. Trimble in 1964 when I was under grad at University of Pittsburgh and in 1968 to get to the conventions when I had just started as a teacher here in Troy. It happens I worked the LBJ Rally at the Civic Arena. Rich Trimble found a few old Pittsburgh tourism pins and stuck them with some of the left over ribbons. I can't remember price, probably $1 or $2 but they were at the Rally and we sold them. Cross my heart and hope not to die. Norm Eavenson collection.
