Calvin Coolidge for president and Theodore Roosevelt Jr. for governor are the candidates on this rare 1924 New York coattail ribbon. This 7 1/2 inch ribbon with captain’s pin at top was made for a Republican County Committee. Roosevelt lost his race to Al Smith after his relatives Franklin and Eleanor campaigned heavily against him, creating hard feelings that never fully healed. Excellent.
