Future presidential candidate John W. Davis was elected to Congress in 1910 and served one term before becoming the solicitor general of the United States. This rare 7/8 inch celluloid is from that congressional campaign. Whitehead and Hoag back paper, scratch on upper left portion of the pin. We’ve sold this pin in mint condition for more than $1,000, this one has just the small scratch, still looks very good.
