Jennette Rankin for Congress

Jennette Rankin owns a special place in history. She was a Montana pacifist who also was the first woman elected to Congress in 1916 – just in time to vote against entering World War I. She made a comeback and was elected again in 1940 – to become the only member of Congress to vote against World War II! This 1 inch celluloid with St. Louis Button Co. back paper is in excellent condition.
