Wilmer “Vinegar Bend” Mizell was a pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates during their 1960 championship year and New York Mets. (He acquired the nickname because he was from Vinegar Bend, Alabama). When he put up his glove, he went home to North Carolina and got himself elected to Congress, where he served from 1969-1975. This 2 1/2 inch celluloid showed you were on his team. Excellent condition.
