I’m for Governor Murphy, Michigan
Frank Murphy not only was governor of Michigan, he also held a number of other top political posts. He was mayor of Detroit, governor of the Philippines and after his term as governor he attorney general of the U.S. and a member of the U.S. Supreme Court. Murphy was elected governor in 1936 so this pin is from his 1938 re-election campaign. It’s a 7/8 inch celluloid in excellent condition.
